KAMA Auto Launches Quality Breakthrough Campaign: Building Excellence Together

In an ambitious, company-wide movement themed “Cultivating a Quality Culture, Building a Premium KAMA,” KAMA Auto has launched a full-scale quality enhancement initiative. Aligned with China’s National Quality Month, the program integrates problem-solving, technology upgrades, and system optimization to strengthen end-to-end quality control—from design to delivery.

Driving a Quality-First Culture
Kicking off in early September, KAMA mobilized teams through multi-channel internal communications—OA systems, social media, and workshops—reinforcing that “quality is the lifeline of the enterprise.” Initiatives like “Quality Model Worker” awards recognized 78 employees, inspiring company-wide engagement in craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

Building a Market-Driven Feedback Loop
A robust market feedback system now integrates inputs from sales, after-sales, and customer complaints. KAMA implemented a tiered response mechanism: critical issues resolved within 24 hours, general issues within 7 days, and minor issues optimized periodically. By refining QRQC and 3MIS management, KAMA addressed 132 market-related issues, extended warranty coverage, and established a closed-loop system for problem detection, analysis, and validation.

Reinforcing New Product Quality Assurance
KAMA revamped its product development process with enhanced pre-production testing, including ET/PT evaluations and 4M change management. For critical components like cab sheet metal and steering gears, the company enforced onsite supplier supervision and stricter qualification checks—strengthening the supply chain at the source.

Upgrading Production & Inspection Systems
On the manufacturing front, KAMA introduced VES evaluations, weekly self-assessments, and quarterly third-party audits. To tackle issues like wheel hub scratches, the team optimized workflows, installed protective tooling, and redesigned material handling with 115 custom racks—minimizing damage and improving assembly precision.

Empowering Teams with Technical Training
Through skill competitions and workshops, KAMA is upskilling R&D, production, and QC staff. Training covers quality standards, defect identification, and emergency response, supported by real-case simulations. These efforts target skill gaps and aging workforce challenges, fostering a culture of expertise and proactive problem-solving.
